Review – “Biscuit Goes To School” By Alyssa Satin Capuccili

When you are a parent, you tend to hang out with like-minded parents. Most of my peer parents are inclined towards books as a means of engaging the child and also gifting when the need arises. Biscuit Goes To School by Alyssa Satin Capucilli was one of the books T got as a return favor at a playdate. I introduced the book a little later after she received it (I like to hide her new stuff so that she doesn’t ask for all of them together, get bored, and never look back at them)

Biscuit the dog wants to go to school along with his human sister. But she boards the bus alone not knowing that he has his own plans.

WHAT WE LIKED

  • Crisp sentences, apt for young readers who are beginning their journey into the world of stories from baby books.
  • The relatable Biscuit, for those who a pet dog at home, the story may get even more interesting.

WHAT WE DISLIKED nothing, it was perfect.

A sweet and apt book for introducing stories to young toddlers. Published by Harper Collins (Harper Trophy, I Can Read) Recommended age 18+ months.
